Et voilà un sublime commentaire que me rapporte lui-même Stefan Grossman

The story is rather simple. For a reason I never understood John recorded a tune titled the Assassination of Stephan Grossman. Once I saw and heard this I decided to record a tune on my next album titled The Assassination of John Fahey. John initial was very upset by this but yet had no idea why I would be upset by his tune. We exchanged letters for about a year and then decided to call a truce!! After that I recorded both audio and video lessons with John. At the end of the day we were indeed friends.
